A chemical peel is a skin treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution which causes the dead, superficial skin cells to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother, lighter and less wrinkled than the older skin.
The types of chemical peel differ based on how deeply the chemical penetrates and what type of chemical solution is used.
Superficial Chemical Peels are used to treat only the outer layer of the skin to gently exfoliate it. Superficial peel procedures do not take more than 30 minutes, this is the reason why they are called "lunch time peels". These treatments are used to improve the appearance of mild skin discolourations and rough skin.
The treatment needs to be discussed with the therapist as the choice of a peel is client dependant and can vary accordingly.
Indications for Superficial Chemical Peels:
Acne or acne scars
Age and liver spots/solar lentigo
Irregular skin pigmentation (chloasma and melasma, photo-ageing)
Fine lines and wrinkles
Rough skin and scaly patches
Your peel will be performed using Toskani Cosmetics products.
A course of 6 treatments every 2 weeks is recommended.
The delivery of a peel can be optimised by combining the treatment with Mesotherapy. The action of the peel exfoliates dead skin cells and unclogs pores allowing for improved penetration of the Mesotherapy cocktail.
Sea Herbal Deep Peel is the natural way to completely renew and rejuvenate your skin in 4-5 days!
It is a natural, mechanical dead sea coral-based peeling which comes from Israel and has been on the market for over 30 years.
A unique combination of natural active ingredients such as marine plants, corals, minerals and vitamins work together to build a healthier looking skin on the inside and out.
The natural ingredients exfoliate and "lift" the epidermis to promote easy shedding and removal of dead skin cells.
The combined action of vigorous manual massage and coral silicates creates a directed micro-trauma and prompts a natural rejuvenation process. Millions of tiny coral silica-dioxide "needles" penetrate deeply into epidermal layers and gently scrub and stimulate the skin from the inside out, creating an intense sensation of heat. As a result, blood flow to the area increases and cellular regeneration is initiated. Moisturizing ingredients derived from algae lock in moisture and coral silicates continue to work within the skin layers for the next couple of days.
Over the course of 4-5 days the upper skin layers completely dry and peel off. This gradual skin resurfacing allows the body to replenish the skin layers with new and healthy cells, gently removing blemishes and pigmentation, and filling in wrinkles.
The peel is appropriate for all ages and skin types, complexions and conditions including early- and advanced- aging skin, sun damage and hyperpigmentation, deep acne scarring and post-acne conditions. It is fully indicated for all skin phototypes, such as black and oriental skins.
Sea Herbal Deep Peel has a prolonged biological impact on the tissues and requires only one or two treatments for optimal results. With other peels, sometimes as many as six treatments are necessary to achieve the desired outcome. Unlike traditional chemical peels, this peel is absolutely safe and can be performed in any season of the year. It is a 100% natural non-acid chemical-free peel, in other words, no chemicals are ever used!
Benefits of Sea Herbal Deep Peel:
creates a natural face lift appearance
diminishes wrinkles and fine lines
improves skin's texture, elasticity and tone evenness
heals acne, balances sebum and prevents comedones
improves the appearance of acne scarring and stretch marks
lightens hyperpigmentation and reverses photo damage
brings skin to its optimal state for enhanced active ingredient penetration
creates a more radiant, youthful complexion
Your peel will be performed using Rose de Mer Sea Herbal Deep Peel by Christina Cosmeceuticals.
Delivery of mesotherapy cocktail with a needle
Mesotherapy is a safe, natural therapy that does amazing things for your skin, your body and more. Mesotherapy can help you get rid of dark circles under your eyes, give your skin a new lease of life, banish cellulite and stimulate new hair growth - a real wonder-therapy!
This unique process involves performing series of superficial micro-injections to the epidermis - done by hand or with a meso-injector - which allows for transportation of nourishing substances including hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino-acids, enzymes, minerals and plant extracts to the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) where cell repair and growth occurs.
All the substances used naturally occur in the skin but degrade as our skin becomes older and stressed. Mesotherapy replaces these naturally occurring nutrients to create the effect you want to achieve. The great thing about Mesotherapy is that the components are natural and therefore, your system isn't having any "foreign" material introduced.
In addition, due to the mechanical action of a very fine needle to the skin, natural healing force of skin is activated to cure microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin and stimulating cell metabolism.
Mesotherapy is commonly used for:
Skin Rejuvenation - moisturizes, fills, firms, tones and tightens sagging skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles
Dry Skin Hydration - increases skin quality, rehydrates, boosts radiance and illuminates
Problem Skin - balances skin hormones and skin oil secretion, reduces break outs and scars, regenerates and improves texture
Hyperpigmentation - lightens dark circles and clears up age spots, melasma and freckles
Hair Loss (Alopecia) - stimulates hair growth by rejuvenating hair follicles
The delivery of Mesotherapy can be optimised by combining the treatment with a superficial peel. The action of the peel exfoliates dead skin cells and unclogs pores allowing for improved penetration of the Mesotherapy cocktail.
A course of 6-8 treatments at 7-10 day intervals is advised to achieve maximum improvement. After this, maintenance treatments every 1-2 months are recommended to maintain smoother, healthier and better hydrated skin.
One-off facial treatments are extremely popular for special occasions delivering instantly glowing skin radiance and giving an amazing base to apply make-up.
Treatment time takes approximately 1 hour and whilst not painful, it can be slightly uncomfortable so an anaesthetic cream will be applied. With minimal downtime – a little bruising and swelling at the site of the injection may occur but it will be short lived and should settle within 24-48 hours.
Delivery of mesotherapy cocktail with a meso-injector
Bio-revitalisation - is a form of mesotherapy that addresses the main causes of aging by injecting highly concentrated high molecular mass hyaluronic acid into the dermis of the skin together with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and peptides to provide a deep, long-standing effect. Hyaluronic acid itself is an essential structural element of the human connective tissue responsible for maintaining skin hydration and youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic acid has a great hydrating power capacity as it binds 1000 times more volume of water than its own mass. When injected, hyaluronic acid boosts hydration within the skin and gives our skin cells called fibroblasts a wake up call, signalling them to start producing collagen and elastin again, which leads to skin renewal. In addition, the production of own hyaluronic acid is stimulated. Thus, the skin is not only moisturised, but also its properties are restored and strong lifting effect is obtained due to newly formed derma fibres. The skin becomes "fuller", gets a youthful glow, and the texture of the skin improves.
The injected hyaluronic acid remains in the skin for a long time, while this is not necessarily the case for the mesotherapy components. Bio-revitalisation products tend to be more viscous than mesotherapy products, so they do a little bit of filling. However, bio-revitalisers shouldn't be confused with fillers or Botox as they don't contain anything that will change the structure of your face or affect muscle control.
Whilst Mesotherapy is highly effective at preventing aging, Bio-revitalisation is most effective on those who are 30+ or who have more advanced signs of aging.
The results of Bio-revitalisation are subtle but immediate, with the skin continuing to become smoother, brighter, and firmer over the days and weeks following your treatment. For the full effect of Bio-revitalisation it is recommended to do a course of 3 treatments at 3-4 week intervals, and then perform maintenance treatments every couple of months.

Micro-needling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Natural healing force of skin is activated to cure these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin fibres. In response to this stimulus, the skin plumps and thickens, which results in reduction of the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, each puncture creates a channel that provides a pathway for powerful skin rejuvenating solution to penetrate into the skin.
Most people will begin to see results after the very first treatment. Within a week or two, you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking, but the full effects won't be seen until a few months later.
A series of 6-8 treatments at 2-4 week intervals is recommended to achieve the desired results. The actual number of treatments required and their frequency will depend on the condition of the skin prior to treatment, and on how each individual responds to the treatments. After this, maintenance treatments every 1-2 months are advised.
Micro-needling is ideal for:
Dry, dehydrated skin
Poor elasticity
Wrinkles
Fatigue, sagging
Sun damage (photoaging)
Large pores
Scars (acne, chicken pox, surgical and burns)
Uneven pigmentation
Stretch marks
After the treatment, most people will experience redness and mild swelling, and there may be a minimal pin-point bleeding. The inflammatory reaction of the skin fades away significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 12-48 hours.
Contraindications:
Allergies
Roaccutane therapy or its equivalent (within the last 6 months)
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Recent sun exposure
Inflammatory acne
Open wounds
Any kind of current skin infection or condition in the area desired to be treated
Radiation or chemotherapy treatment within the last year
History of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing
Blood clotting disorders
Those on blood thinners or arrhythmia medications

Vampire Facial is an absolute fan favourite among celebrities. There are a number of reasons why celebrities are opting for it.
Vampire Facial is an amazing natural therapy that uses your own refined blood. A small amount of your own blood is taken and then refined using special equipment to concentrate the plasma and platelet content. This is then injected back into areas that need attention. The platelets in their concentrated form stimulate the release of proteins for healing that we call growth factors (these are naturally found in the body). It is these natural growth factors that stimulate and accelerate growth and repair in the body and when used for cosmetic purposes help fight the signs of ageing.
Platelet rich plasma, injected into specific areas of the skin, acts as a matrix that promotes your own collagen and elastin to grow, regenerates tissue, and thus acts to naturally smooth and tighten the skin.
Most common benefits of the Vampire Facial include:
smoother and less obvious wrinkles and fine lines
firmer and smoother skin texture
reduced appearance of scars
reduced appearance of pores
reduces appearance of sun damage and pigmentation
brightened under-eye area
increased overall volume and plumpness
It is important to note that the results will vary from person to person.
You can get a Vampire Facial in a few different ways. Option one includes having plasma spread on your face, followed by micro-needling across your cheeks and forehead to help the skin absorb the plasma serum. Another option, called the Vampire Facelift, includes having plasma injected into your skin. The result being tissue regeneration similar to Vampire Facial, but at a much deeper level. Both options can use just the plasma or can be combined with pure hyaluronic acid to achieve desired result.
The beauty of Vampire Facial is that it is totally natural and totally your own. Side effects are incredibly rare and it simply works to stunning effect.
The results of Vampire Facial continue to get better over time. For best long lasting results, it's recommended that a course of 3 treatments is taken. Each treatment is 4-6 weeks apart to allow rejuvenation to take effect. The results can last around 18 months. Top-up treatments will maintain the results.
Vampire Facial is a great treatment for people who don't want to have synthetic neurotoxins or fillers injected.
Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening, also known as a "soft surgery", is a revolutionary skin tightening procedure that delivers results similar to surgery, with no scalpel, stitches or bandages and minimum downtime. It is a minimally invasive procedure with much lower risk and a more affordable price than actual surgery. The treatment is performed using PlasmaPen™ - an extremely accurate hand held device.
PlamaPen™ uses plasma, an ionised gas, to tighten skin non-surgically. During the treatment, an electric arc, also referred to as plasma flash, forms between the tip of the treatment hand piece and the client's skin. Through a process called sublimation - which turns a solid directly into gas - the targeted tissues are instantly tightened, without causing damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. In response to thermal disruption, the new skin generates more collagen and elastin fibres, essential proteins and growth factors that we lose as we age.
Indications for Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening:
crows feet
eyelid and eye bag correction
hooded eyes
worry lines
forehead lines
nasolabial lines
wrinkles
marionette lines
saggy skin
stretch marks
scars
saggy neck/neck wrinkles
… and so much more!
The treatment lasts approximately one to three hours depending on the size of the treated area. The treatment can be slightly uncomfortable (equivalent to sun burn discomfort), requires only topical anaesthesia, and there are no cuts or blood. The plasma flash creates tiny dots (carbon crusts) upon contact. These superficial dots, which form in a symmetrical grid over the treatment area, are the part of the normal healing process, and will fall off 7-10 days post-treatment, revealing new pink skin beneath. Clients can return to their normal activities right away with minimal discomfort.
Most client achieve their desired results after just one treatment, which continue to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. However, depending on the area being treated, the skin's laxity, and individual response to treatment, an additional treatment may be required after 6-8 weeks for maximum results.
The results are permanent as they would with cosmetic surgery. Although it does not stop your natural aging process, you will enjoy noticeably healthier, firmer skin for years to come!
Upper blepharoplasty
PlasmaPen™ isn't just limited to Fibroblast Skin Tightening at all! PlasmaPen™ is a clever little device that can deliver a range of customised treatments - each with their own uses and benefits:
Plasma Peel Spray Facial
More than a just a regular facial but less than a classic fibroblast tightening. This is a wonderful resurfacing treatment for those with skin conditions like acne, scarring or sunspots - and for those that just want a full face rejuvenation. It works by slightly spraying plasma gas over the whole surface of the face rather than the precisely placed micro-trauma "dots" administered during a PlasmaPen™ fibroblasting treatment.
With this treatment, the surface of the skin will receive short plasma "scratches". Your skin will be red for 24-48 hours, the minute scratches will oxidise and turn a reddy-brown colour. From here over the next few days, your skin will start to flake off and reveal a new fresh layer of skin. Collagen synthesis in the lower dermis will also occur, but the focus is on resurfacing and rejuvenating the upper epidermis of the skin.
Plasma Peel Spray Facial produces a brighter, smoother, tighter, more even skin tone, with a reduction in fine fine lines and wrinkles, reduces skin oil levels, active acne, age spots, sun spots and hyperpigmentation. Recommended a course of 3-4 treatments (depending on desired results) 6 weeks apart for incredible cumulative results. This means that in as little as 16 weeks you can turn back the hands of time to look instantly younger and refreshed!
Benefits: results have been compared to multiple micro-needling sessions, leaving skin smoother, tighter and more balanced. Results can last up to 3 years.
Downtime: up to 7 days
Baby Plasma
This is a great alternative to more intense PlasmaPen™ treatments, as there isn't any downtime! Also, this is a great way to introduce yourself to PlasmaPen™.
Developed to deliver a milder form of plasma energy to targeted areas, this treatment will help purify acne prone skin as well as create a mild tightening effect. Also, Baby Plasma opens channels in the skin allowing transdermal serums to infuse into the skin cells fast. A course 6-12 treatments (depending on desired results) is recommended every 2 weeks.
Benefits: improves the overall appearance of the skin, reduces the depth of fine lines and wrinkles, reduces puffiness and dark circles, helps heal acne and acne scars.
Downtime: none
Plasmaporation
This is a maintenance treatment designed for advanced skin rejuvenation, bio-revitalisation, and cosmeceutical delivery. It's a great treatment to have before a big event as it doesn't involve any pain or downtime. It is a recommended treatment to have following PlasmaPen™ fibroblasting treatments in order to feed and nurture the new skin.
The PlasmaPen™ device is used to create a superficial disruption to the skin's layers and allow therapeutic substances to be absorbed deep into the layers of the skin without any need for invasive procedures.
Benefits: hydrates dry and dull-looking skin, brightens, refreshes and gently resurfaces the skin, reduces signs of photo-ageing.
Downtime: none

Cosmetic Electrotherapy is a range of beauty treatments that use low electric current passed through the skin to produce several therapeutic effects such as deep cleansing, nourishment, muscle toning and lifting. Current technologies offer various electrical devices to aid the treatment of skin conditions. These include Galvanic, High Frequency, Microcurrent, and LED Light Therapy.
My approach to facial electrical treatments is one of 'multi-layering' in order to produce the best possible results for your skin.
Selecting the right choice of electrical equipment allows me to supercharge the facial so that you get performance and a visible difference in your skin, even after one treatment. Whatever your skin concern I can offer a facial programme using a combination of the most effective equipment to give you the results you want.
Microcurrent
Microcurrent is often referred to as a 'Non-surgical face lift', or 'Bio face lift'.
This safe and painless facial helps erase fine lines and wrinkles, while firming your skin and defining your features. It improves muscle tone, reduces puffiness, increases cellular activity, and tightens pores. The overall result is a healthier and younger looking skin, no matter your age.
Galvanic
There are 2 types of galvanic facials that are often used in conjunction with each other for optimum results:
Desincrustation – Deep Exfoliation Treatment
Used for deep cleansing of the skin, as the deeper layers of the skin are penetrated by the use of galvanic Desincrustation gels. This helps soften keratin, oil plugs, and sebum, thereby making it much easier to carry out the extractions. As you can imagine, this approach can be especially helpful for addressing oily skin, acne, blackheads, and comedones.
Galvanic Iontophoresis – Deep Feeding Treatment
Used for deep feeding of beneficial and specialised ingredients into the skin, using specialised Iontophoresis gels that penetrate deeper layers of skin. Iontophoresis is primarily used to treat dry, dehydrated or depleted complexion since it is incredibly effective at importing product absorption and moisture retention. However, it also has great potential as an age management modality, working to address conditions such as free radical damage, skin laxity, hyperpigmentation, and more.
High Frequency
High Frequency treatment has been around for over 50 years, it is simple and the results are fast and effective, with no downtime at all!
Direct High Frequency uses low-current high-frequency alternating currents, carried via a glass electrode. The electrode is applied directly onto the face or neck and is moved smoothly and evenly over the complete area. As the high frequency current converts some of the oxygen in the air into ozone, the treatment has a strong germicidal action.
It's great for acne, blemished, congested skin, and oily skin. It is ideal to help improve the condition of oily areas such as the T-zone on the face, or blemished skin on the back.
It also improves the appearance of the skin as it has tightening and whitening effect.
Indirect High Frequency is used for gentle skin stimulation and aid in product penetration. It provides a wonderful warming, soothing massage, called Viennese Massage.
Indirect High Frequency flows through the surface of the body, when the hands of the therapist make contact with the client's skin as the client holds the electrode to channel the current. The treatment intensifies the effects of massage as the skin becomes more active and receptive to the absorption of active ingredients.
Indirect High Frequency is ideal for a skin that needs stimulation, such as mature, dry, lacklustre, delicate, fragile, sensitive and flaccid. Indirect High Frequency stimulates blood, lymph and sebaceous activity without pulling or stretching the skin. It has an overall regeneration action but also promotes relaxation and sedation.
LED Light Therapy
LED Light Therapy device uses 7 different light wavelengths to trigger body's cell natural healing processes to reverse visible signs of ageing and repair skin problems such as acne, scars, rosacea, pigmentation and dull skin.
During the treatment, skin cells absorb particles of light (photons) and transform their energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy that cells utilise. The resulting elevation of ATP is then used to power metabolic processes, synthesise proteins, enzymes and other products needed to repair or regenerate cell components.
LED Light Therapy is perhaps the only skin treatment that has no contra-indications of any kind and is an excellent addition to complete any facial.
This treatment is 100% safe. It has absolutely zero side effects and recovery time.
Contraindications to Electrotherapy: pregnancy, history of heart diseases, pace makers, metal implants in the body, history of migraines, epilepsy, nervous disorders.
